Plot Synopsis

"Every underdog has his day."

The Honourable Wally Norman is the tale of a country meatworker who is accidentally nominated to run for Parliament. What’s worse, to save his local meatworks, he realises he has to get elected. Luckily, nothing stands in his way – except every other politician in the country, and his own morbid fear of public speaking.

What Shaun says about "The Honourable Wally Norman":

"Ted Emery directed this and I'd pretty much say 'yes' to anything he wanted me to be in. Ted directed Full Frontal. In fact, when I first sent my audition tape to Fast Forward in 1990, Ted was the one who rejected me (on the basis I was too much like Stephen Fry). Although Wally Norman is not really my sense of humour (I prefer playing with the medium a bit more) I did enjoy making it, and I like the writers Rick and Andrew very much."
